In compliance with the obligations provided for by the European Privacy Regulation EU/2016/679 (GDPR) with this we intend to inform that Associazione Musicale FR. Terenzio Zardini, as Data Controller and operator of the website https://www.associazionemusicalezardini.it, will process the personal data concerning you, which may be collected, provided by you and/or by other subjects communicated, by filling in forms, browsing web pages and using services.
Art. 1
The competition is open to students of any nationality and citizenship born on or after January 1, 1989. Specifically, the competition is aimed at students in the Bachelor's and Master's programs for Organ at Music University and European and non-European Music Institutions, as well as organists holding a 2nd level Academic Diploma (Master's).
It will take place in Verona from April 22 to 25, 2025.

The registration form must be completed and must be submitted by February 8, 2025.

Travel and accommodation expenses are at the participants’ costs.
Art. 5
The judging panel will consist of experts in the field. The panel members will refrain from evaluating any competitors with whom they have family relationships or with whom they have had educational relationships in the past three years. The decision of the jury is final and cannot be appealed.
Art. 6
At the beginning of each audition, participants must present a valid identification document.

The competition, except for Category A (Bachelor), will consist of the following stages:

Art. 8
Each contestant will be provided with an assistant to help with organ registration during the performance. Contestants may also bring their own registration assistant at their own expense.
The order of performances will be determined by a random draw.
The competition secretariat will publish the list of admitted candidates and the schedule for instrument trials and competition rounds on the website www.associazionemusicalezardini.it by February 24, 2025.
All Semifinal and Final rounds will be open to the public.
Art. 9
During the competition, each member of the jury will give a "lecture" on organ repertoire, which will be open to everyone.
Art. 10
PRIZE: € 8.000,00
Category A (Bachelor): single prize of € 700,00 + invitation to perform at the "Vespri in Cattedrale" concert series in Verona during the 2025/2026 season.
Category B (Master): single prize of € 800,00 + invitation to perform at the "Vespri in Cattedrale" concert series in Verona during the 2025/2026 season.
Category C (Graduates):
First Prize € 2.000,00 and four concerts to be split at the following festivals:
Second Prize of € 1.500,00 and one concert at:
Third Prize of € 1.000,00
Special Prizes reserved for candidates with a 2nd level Academic Diploma/Master’s:
The jury reserves the right not to award one or more prizes.
All prizes are subject to withholding tax (Art. 30, paragraph 2, Dpr. 600/73).
The award ceremony will be held on Friday 25 April 2025.
Art. 11
Contest participants are personally responsible for their own physical and/or moral integrity during their stay and travel. The competition organizers assume no responsibility for any physical and/or moral damage to persons or property caused by the participants.
Art. 12
The organizers reserve the right to make any changes to these rules that may be necessary to ensure the smooth running of the competition. They also reserve the right to cancel the competition by April 7, 2025, if circumstances beyond their control prevent its occurrence. In such cases, participants will be refunded their registration fee. In the event of disputes, the text must be written in Italian.
Art. 13
Applying implies full and unconditional acceptance of the terms of this regulation. All stages of the competition may be recorded, reproduced, filmed in audio and video, or broadcast without participants being able to make any claims.
Personal data provided by candidates will be collected and processed for the purpose of managing the ‘Terenzio Zardini’ International Organ Competition Secretariat, in accordance with Legislative Decree 196/03 and Art. 13 GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679).
